Radio High Altitude Ballooning

Amateur Radio High Altitude Ballooning (ARHAB)

Many near space ballooners are using HAM radio equipment to track their balloons through triangulation or APRS or data transmissions.

We can follow them very simpley at these two webpages Space Neer Us and Habitat Habhub. You cam become a part of the tracking of a filght, to do this you will need a 70cm radio set up with SSB or a funqube Dongle or similar SDR, linked to a PC you can run dl-fldigi decoding software, this will decode any message and can link you in as a station tranking the flight.
