I find spending more time outside for yourself is rarely a bad idea. No matter how much you learn, there will always be something new, a shooting technique to play with or just a new subjet.
Sony Alpha A77 24.3 megapixel SLR/SLT
Getting a bit old like me but an enjoyable camera to use that is capable of producing some excellent photos, with great colour, detail, and an extremely solid weather-sealed body and deep hand grip and suited to someone with larger hands. Some shots..
12fps shooting is possible at the full 24.3-megapixel resolution with continuous autofocus. Some shots below…
Olympus Tough TG-5
A great and very tough that is waterproof to 15m/50ft, shockproof from 2.1m/7ft, crushproof to 100kgf/220lbf. The best bit takes pictures at night without the flash, it sees in the dark better than you can! Any shot you can see it can take.
It was made for the outdoor, I was frustrated by the poor quality of photos from some great trips, this camera was the answer.
